Book Launch Party

On Monday, April 16/18, my debut novel was released through Crave Press and to celebrate, I had a launch party at a new local restaurant, Urban Cheese. My family and I got there early so we could have supper together and the food was spectacular.

We had a major snow and ice storm so it did reduce the numbers that had planned to attend, but those that did brave the elements all enjoyed the evening. They stayed for the entire event and there was plenty of laughing and conversation among the different groups. Having lesser people allowed me to speak with everyone. I did do a reading, the most nervous part of the evening, but I survived.

I would like to thank the owners of Urban Cheese, my family and all those who came out to celebrate this wonderful milestone in my life. Also thanks to Mary, the photojournalist from CTV News who came to interview me.

My second novel, Homegrown comes out June 11/18 and fingers are crossed that there will be no snow storm, however I do live in Northern Ontario so I will not put money on it.
