Book Review: Misfire: The Kate Downey Medical Mystery Series, Book 2 by Tammy Euliano

Already a fan of Tammy Euliano, having read her first medical thriller, Fatal Instinct, I was excited to dive into her second novel with the same protagonist, Kate Downey. I was not disappointed.

The same edge of your seat thriller with so many twists and turns that I dare you to announce your suspect before the ending (you're wrong!)

This story deals with pacemakers and asks about who can control the units and can they can use them to actually harm patients for monetary gain. In this story, we find that a few individuals are using the device to further their own agendas, one of which is the beloved Aunt Irm. There are so many exciting medical emergencies to excite the most adamant medical thriller, but it also appeals to the conspiracy thriller fan as well.

I highly recommend Misfire if you want an exciting medical mystery that delivers the good.
