Book Review: Who Has Buried the Dead by Chuck Konkel
This story is a massive undertaking set on the canvass of World War II. It is a story of a notebook that held the secrets of the atomic bomb and the race for the contents by the Nazis, Russian, British and Americans. The notebook was the accumulative notes of a group of scientists in Poland prior to the war. As both Nazi Germany and Russia attack the country from both sides, atrocities are carried out that complicate the hunt for the information.
Highly researched, this is an unknown story that would lead to the nuclear race between the United States and the USSR. The author has pulled little-known facts together to create a mosaic of moving piecing, all hunting for the same information. The result is an exciting and terrifying account that will be appreciated by any lover of history and WWII. Highly recommended.
