Frankenstein – City of Night #2 by Dean Koontz

This is the second in the Frankenstein series. With New Orleans Detectives Carson O’Connor and Michael Maddison as his human partners, Frankenstein moves through the city trying to find a way into his creator, Victor’s house of horrors, a transformed hospital. The old hospital has been turned into Victor’s laboratory, where he creates creatures that will replace mankind. But Victor is not helpless, some of his creations are hunting the hunters.

The atmosphere will spook out anyone. Dark and mysterious but mixed with Koontz’s humor as well.
