Measure of Morality: An Inspector William Fox series by Peter Thomas Pontsa

To be honest, I had never read this author’s work before, but I promised an honest review when presented with a copy of this work. Having said that, the author did a great job keeping me informed of the facts from previous stories and how they related to this one. I was never confused of overwhelmed by these past facts, but it explained how things came to be. It also enticed me enough that I will search for other titles from this author.

The story deals with a race between the Chinese government, which is using the Triads to launder money worldwide. When the money man takes his own cut, he is murdered and his wife escapes with digital evidence that can bring the entire empire down. Inspector Fox is brought into the mystery when his younger brother, a journalist, is targeted by Triad killers. Now, he must connect the dots, secure the evidence and keep multiple people, including his own family, safe.

If you are a fan of international thrillers with explosive action and suspense that builds with each page, you’ll love this tale.
