Tortured by the Jackel, Darrow must gather his allies for the final battle. With the knowledge that he is a Red, and not a Gold, he pulls all the other classes to his banner. But is it enough to beat the warrior society of Gold when they are fighting for their very existence?

This story has everything. Humour, action galore, betrayal, loyalty, space battles, and romance. I listened to the audio version which came to life under the expert narration of Tim Gerald Reynolds. I ate up the first three novels in non-stop marathon reading.
