Nash Falls introduces readers to another lead character of Baldacci’s world of crime thrillers. Walter Nash is a money guy and is the best in the business. When the FBI approaches him to help find money laundering evidence by his boss, his life goes to hell. With both the police and the criminals after him, Nash has no choice but to accept help from an unexpected source, his estranged father’s best friend from Vietnam.

This has all the hallmark suspense typical of a Baldacci story, but it is also about betrayal, sacrifice and revenge. Normally I would give it a five out of five, but unlike all his other thriller series, the story is not contained to this book but ends with a cliffhanger. Having to wait until 2026 you see how it ends is not cool.
