Holly Gibney has to balance two different cases. At home, a serial killer starts a killing spree that deals with a jury who convicted an innocent man. He plans on killing thirteen innocents and one guilty. Holly’s friend, Izzy Jaynes of the Buckeye Police department leads the case, but the weirdness has caught Holly’s curiosity. She has also been hired to protect a pro-choice speaker who has been attacked touring across the country. This is a first for Holly and she’s second guessing herself.
