Out of Nowhere by Sandra Brown

Brown is a heavy hitter in the thriller community, and I have always wanted to read her work. When I found this story in an audible format, I jumped at the chance and was not disappointed.

A mass shooting brings together two totally different people. Elle, a mother grieving for the loss of her infant child, and Calder, a swank, professional. The two must team up when it’s discovered that the killer is still out there and wants to finish what they’ve started. With a ton of twists and suspense, Brown proves she is at the top of her game.

I’ll definitely be watching for more of her work.
