The Devil’s Fortress by Dale Brown Nick Flynn #4
I have been a long-time fan of Brown’s military adventures that began with The Flight of the Old Dog. The author was a Captain in the American Air Force and brings so much authentic details to his stories which make them seem more plausible and of course, scary. For some reason, though, I had gotten away from his writing.
I found The Devil’s Fortress in audio and decided to revisit his work. I was not disappointed.
Nick Flynn is a special-ops soldier for a secret agency of multi-Nationalists which takes on missions of the highest threat without the red tape of government. In this mission, he and his team are up against a brilliant, yet ruthless Russian bent on destroying America’s food industry. But after a failed recon mission, the Russian is held up in an ultra-secure high-rise and Nick and his team must find away to attack the man to stop his plans.
I enjoyed the action and story and now will have to retrace the series from the start.
