The Heart of Elder Horrors Edited by Carla Lewis and Jessica Moore

This anthology is packed with a variety of monster stories. From demon hunters who are more monstrous than those they hunt to witches who hold the evil guilt of the people who fear her. A werewolf private eye who investigates the worst of society for her once-a-month hunt. An escape room game with only one winner/survivor. Merre people who might have inspired The Beast from the Black Lagoon, and a hundred-year killer who kills for vengeance.

This collection will have you reading with the lights on. For God’s sake, don’t investigate that noise in the basement, or you’ll pay for your curiosity. This spooky fun is at its best.
