Bosch has been put on leave after clocking his superior. He’s meeting with a psychologist who needs to help Harry get back on the job. In his downtime, he begins an informal investigation into the murder of his mother, a prostitute, thirty years ago.
He quickly finds inconsistencies in the original investigation that suggest a cover-up. And several of those involved are now powerful people in the city and state.
Bosch needs to walk a fine line, but when was Harry ever subtle?
Great story with lots of twists. If you are a fan of Bosch, this is another fantastic mystery. If you haven’t experienced Bosch, what the heck is taking you?
