This debut novel is the first in a series written by a Canadian veteran who has lived through similar situations described in the novel. You can’t be more authentic than that. This segment deals with the first salvo in a conspiracy to hurt Canada. When a former intelligence officer and a British spy are taken after a fierce gunfight in Belize, Canada’s  JTF2's Alpha Team is called in to free the hostages and capture the head terrorist.

This story with high-level suspense and brutal, fast-paced action, put’s Lalonde on par with Andrew and Wilson and Jack Mars.
